…shamefully, I must report I didn’t pick up a book or listen to a minute of any audiobooks from my “want to read” list this week. Most of every day was taken up packing, moving, and settling my family into our new home. God was gracious and with the help of 20-25 dear friends and coworkers, we moved in on September 9.

Dr. Heiser went to be with the Lord in February of 2023. He left behind an incredible body of work in the form of essays, books, podcasts, videos, etc. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed exploring his unique worldview which he has called the “Divine Council Worldview.”

I’ve long wanted to read a book on Genghis Khan because all of Asia, and the world, is the way it is today (country/nation boundaries, technological progress, etc.) in part because of him.
