Book I’m Reading

Here’s an interesting look at how the world could function with Bitcoin as the global reserve currency. This book starts with the history of money, as one should when trying to teach folks about Bitcoin. If you can get past the frequent jabs at John Maynard Keynes (Ammous really doesn’t like him), this book has a lot to offer.

Great explanation of the key tenets of Bitcoin.

Podcast I’m Listening To

The Briefing, with Albert Mohler, from March 24, 2023

Check out Mohler’s first segment on a recent research article published in the journal Global Epidemiology titled: “Marital Transitions during Earlier Adulthood and Subsequent Health and Wellbeing in Mid to Late Life among Female Nurses, an Outcome Wide Analysis.”

Mohler brings out the worldview significance of an academic researcher uncovering, about marriage, exactly what Christians know to be true from Holy Scripture.

Video I’m Watching

Balaji Srinivasan is brilliant.

Time may not prove him correct on his $2M bet that Bitcoin will be worth $1M per coin within 90 days (actually, I hope he’s wrong and that there’s a much more gradual global transition into Bitcoin), but he will have succeeded in drawing much attention to the space amid the current central banking fiasco.
