What I'm reading, writing, and thinking about.
This was a Goodwill find and, wow, is it good! Fast-paced, entertaining, and generous (the authors take liberties) in its character development, this one has kept me on the edge of my seat, even though I know what ultimately happens. That’s good writing.
My hold on the audiobook through Libby came up this week, so I dove in. I have to say, so far, it’s excellent.
I’m continuing this one as our Operations Leadership Team at SonSet Solutions is reading and discussing it. It has challenged me every time I’ve picked it up. It contains a good mix of biblical rigor and present-day practices from current Christian leaders. If you’re a leader, prayer should undergird each day you live and serve.
Here’s another piece of required reading for my biblical counseling certification. It has been excellent so far!
