Books I'm Reading

I finished this one this week. It’s a remarkable story of perseverance, endurance, and grit.

This was the first material I’d read on King Philips’ War, which was absolutely brutal in its effect on the population of New England in the 17th century.

In terms of percentages, it was more deadly than every subsequent war the future United States would fight. Roughly 10% of New England’s military-age males were slain, and between 40-60% of the native population (including non-combatants) were killed.

This week, the Czech National Bank announced they started a portfolio of digital assets. The purchase was made outside of its existing international reserves. They published one part of their lengthy report entitled “Analysis of possible investment in other asset classes: Part I: Digital assets” which you can read here.
