Phantom Fleet: The Hunt for Nazi Submarine U-505 and World War II’s Most Daring Heist

I picked this one up at the library last week. It’s quite engaging and the narrative is gripping. The writing could be simpler. But, it seems like the author uses big, little-known words unnecessarily.

It reminds me of several quotes from Writing to Learn by Zinsser where he emphasizes that the most enjoyable, accessible writing uses simple sentences and words, and doesn’t require the reader to pull out their dictionary to understand a sentence.

Podcast I'm Listening To

Believe it or not, I didn’t listen to any podcasts this week. I’ve been listening to a few audio articles and Substack posts here and there. But I enjoyed being a little less connected to the flow/stream of information this week.

On Bitcoin

Bitcoin is most certainly rolling over. I’m expecting more weakness moving forward over the next few months. The long-term thesis hasn’t changed.
