Books I’m Reading
This was the final book I needed to finish before completing my biblical counseling certification.
I was highlighting all over the place in this one. Biblically rooted, practical, and gospel-centered, Lane and Tripp put out some good work here. I heartily recommend it because it’ll help you understand the impact of the gospel on every relationship they have!
I’m also enjoying the audiobook version of the 5th Red Rising book. Pierce Brown is an excellent writer and has created an engrossing world with a narrative to match.

Andrej Karpathy demonstrating how to code apps quickly using AI:
When it comes to learning about Ai, @karpathy is one of the best at making it accessible. This speech was really good BTW.

Do you have any other high quality educators in Ai that are high signal? https://t.co/mUdZcMw3SM

Iran (Uncharted Territories Substack by Tomas Peuyo)
This is a remarkably thorough analysis of how Iran’s geography and priorities impact the current conflict with Israel.

On Bitcoin
Inflation is eroding the value of the US dollar. This means churches and gospel-centered non-profits must grapple with rising costs that threaten their ability to sustain missions. In the face of this, Bitcoin has emerged as a beacon of hope, with its unchangeable supply acting as a bulwark against debasement.
Bitcoin’s fixed cap of 21 million coins offers a stable foundation, ensuring that the funds these organizations depend on retain their value over time. Beyond stability, Bitcoin’s censorship-resistant design provides a long-term shield for donations, protecting them from external control and manipulation.
Early adoption of Bitcoin will empower these churches to spread hope globally, free from the constraints of debasing currencies, and positions them to thrive where traditional money systems falter.
As fiat currencies continue to fail under the weight of economic mismanagement, the reliance on donations for gospel-centered organizations becomes a race against time. Bitcoin’s resistance to debasement ensures these vital funds last, offering a lifeline to sustain missions when conventional systems collapse.
