Book I'm Reading
This book was on the “new” shelf at the library when we took the kids on Saturday. I grabbed it for a quick read through.
It was enjoyable. The most valuable part was the conclusion where Moore lists seven things to avoid and 25 things to ensure that you do to stack the odds of getting rich in your favor.
This was interesting because of the deep dive into American history. What was it like financially for normal, everyday Americans in previous generations? Lots of interesting tidbits here.
Podcast I'm Listening To
I’ve done a poor job of resting in my life. I don’t mean actually sleeping, though that has been rough for as long as I can remember too. I mean resting in the normal course of my daily, weekly, and annual rhythms.
Rest gets a surprising amount of airtime in Scripture. From Genesis through to Revelation, rest is an important theme. Through various circumstances and my own physical health, God is showing me I’ve been neglecting it.
So I’m revisiting the 7th Day Rest series of episodes from the BibleProject. This week I’ve listened to a few of these:
On Bitcoin
Bitcoin appears pinned between the 200-week SMA below and the 8 and 10-week EMAs above. It’s bullish seeing it get bought up below the 200-week. It’ll need to break one way or the other soon as the MAs are converging and leveling out together.
