As I’ve focused on rest, God hit me recently with Isaiah 30:15:
In repentance and rest is your salvation,
in quietness and trust is your strength,
but you would have none of it.
That last line stung. God was offering His people salvation and strength, and the path ran through repentance, rest, quietness, and trust. But they refused. They wanted it their way, in their strength. Lately I’ve seen: this was me for years.
I tend to lead, work, parent, and serve in self-sufficiency instead of prayerful dependence on Christ. He’s inviting me to carry out my responsibilities from a place of dependence, not self-sufficiency.
And He’s inviting you to do the same.
On Bitcoin
A short squeeze initiated the huge breakout we’ve seen this week above the $70,000 level. Pretty remarkable. Bitcoin is one of the most volatile assets out there, and being pinned at the 200-week for so long was bound to end either with a break above or a break below. We got our answer.
