Book I'm Reading
This one will be a focus for the next few weeks as I work through it alongside our leadership team at church.
In a team coaching session in another context this week, one teammate made the point that, after a while, you start to realize leadership books are just repackaging various truths already found in Scripture.
This is obviously true. Still, well-written books like these bring helpful real-world examples of healthy leadership principles in action.
Podcast I'm Listening To
I’m sending one of my teammates to Missional AI’s Global Summit in early April. I listened to this podcast this week to hear from Joshua Seale, the Executive Director of Missional AI.
On The Go and Send Podcast, we’ll be interviewing Yvonne Carlson next week, and the episode will release in early June. Yvonne is on the board of Missional AI, so I’m in this head space right now.
On Bitcoin
After last week’s pop, Bitcoin stalled out at best and at worst appears to be rolling over. If it does, it’ll likely test the 200-week SMA again.
The 200-week SMA has been a good level to buy at historically, but only if you have a long-term (12-18 months) mindset. Generally, you want to stay away from assets that are testing the longer-term moving averages. Give them time to reclaim key levels and reestablish uptrends.
Tweets I'm Reading
The news is pretty heartbreaking:$META 20% layoffs$ORCL layoffs$AMZN 600,000 workers long term layoffs as they get replaced by robotics and AI.

This is a dystopian future.
Companies end up with record profits, without the cost of human labor.
